Nurse Practitioners

Chrissie Holloway

The Integrated nurse practitioner is responsible for the management of care and service provision for individual patients in the community, to assess, manage and monitor the health and social needs of the over 75's with complex needs.  Working collaboratively with the GPs, Community Nursing Team, Rehabilitation Teams, Community and Acute hospitals.

Nurses

Our practice nursing team consists of three qualified practice nurses, one full-time and two part-time.  We also have two regular practice nurses who provide cover for the team in case of absence.

Our practices nurses can advise on, and support, a range of health care including: diabetic and asthma reviews, carrying out ECGs, Spirometry and blood pressure checks, dressings, blood tests, health promotion checks and advice, adult immunisations, travel advice and immunisations, smear testing and minor ailments.
